Whether the perceived need is compelling and does not duplicate existing services or facilities;
Whether the initative provides long-term, sustainable, positive results for the greatest number of people possible;
Whether the project being funded fits with our values and principles;
Whether services or activities are provided without regard to race, religion, creed, sex or secual orientation;
Whether the soliciting organization is financially viable and efficiently and effectively managed;
Wheter the request includes a clear statement as to the expected use of the funds and benefits to be derived from support; and
Whether the request is from an organization that has previosly received support, and includes a clear statement if the benefits that resulted from that support
